To use this service, you must subscribe to Telkom's Call Answer service. To subscribe, please phone Telkom's call centre by dialling 10219 (free of charge) or visit your nearest Telkom customer service branch.
Once you have Call Answer, you can personalise your home phone message service by uploading pre recorded greetings to your Telkom voice mail service, and surprise your friends.

Follow these instructions for your Funtastic Greetings:

  • When prompted by the Telkom Voice Mail system to enter your mail box number enter your complete telephone number including the area dialling code.

  • When prompted for your PIN number, enter the last four digits of your telephone number (this is the default setting) followed by the hash key.

  • Once you have selected the option to change your personal greeting your newly selected recording will start being played into your mailbox automatically and will stop automatically.

  • You can review your message by following the prompts and then you must save it as per normal. Should you not save the message you cannot re-record the message again whilst on the same call, you will have to make a new call into the selection service again.

  • Should your call be interrupted for any reason what so ever before you saved your new message you will have to make another call to the Funtastic Voice Mail selection service.
